WHY “As an adult struggling with my weight, the only time I can keep a consistent work out regimen is when I actually enjoy it. Working in the fitness industry for over a decade as a Spin and Boot Camp instructor, I’ve often felt like something is missing. We play basketball in our youth and it’s not rare to see adults play the sport, the same can be said for tennis, baseball and track, so why not Double Dutch? This is what sparked me to create Double D-Robics.
Since starting Double D-Robics I have seen people in their 20's and people in their 60's mentally transform into 5 year-olds from the joy and playfulness jumping rope elicits. The happiness that comes from my students shows me that I have started something that I can never stop. Being able to break the mental stigma of a “non-jumper” and turn them into confident jumper within an hour; to help people lead more active, healthier lifestyles, this brings me the total satisfaction.”
